How It Works
Free Pro+ Trial
Every new coordinator gets 90 days of Pro+ (the Fill Board, coverage escalation, bidding, and everything else) with no credit card. When it ends you move to Starter for free, or pick a plan to keep going.
Monthly or Yearly
Every paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly. Yearly saves about 25%: Pro+ is $22 a month, paid as $264 once a year. Switch any time from Plan & billing in your account; the unused part of your current period is credited. We email you a week before a yearly plan renews.
Direct Payment
Officers are paid directly by the company they work for (by check, direct deposit, or cash), never by the coordinator and never through xduty. There are no Stripe processing fees and no platform payment processing. xduty handles scheduling, not payments.
Fill Board
The Fill Board is available on the Pro+ plan. It helps you find coverage when your roster can't fill a shift. Post open shifts, vet requests from verified officers, and approve the ones you want. Pro+ can also post shifts that are still open a set time before they start automatically, and auto-accept only officers above a reliability score you choose.
Reliability Scores
Every plan shows each officer's reliability (Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor) from their shifts with every coordinator on xduty: the share they completed, less points for drops within 24 hours of the start and for no-shows you record. Only the officer's own drops count; your schedule changes, approved trades and cancelled contracts never do. Pro+ shows what's behind each score. Officers never see it.
Sponsorship
A business on the Business or Enterprise plan can sponsor the coordinators it works with. Their contracts for that business run with no plan limits and the full Pro+ toolkit, at no cost to the coordinator. Coordinators can ask a linked business to sponsor them from their Companies page.
Upgrading & Downgrading
Upgrade or switch plans any time. The change takes effect immediately, and the unused part of your current plan is credited toward the new one. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. If you’re over a smaller plan’s limits when you move to it, everything you have keeps running. You just can’t add contracts, shifts or officers past the limit until you’re back under it.
What Counts Toward Limits
A contract counts while it’s running; once it finishes, its slot frees up at the start of the next month. Shifts count in the month you create them, and officers while they’re in your network. Cancelled contracts and their shifts never count, and neither does work a business sponsors.
Officer Verification
Every officer on xduty is a certified peace officer who verifies their credentials: their peace officer license number, badge number, and either a .gov email or commission card upload. You always know who's showing up to your shifts.
